Long Beach Acquires Truelson

LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced that defenseman Kevin Truelson has been acquired from the Gwinnett Gladiators in exchange for financial considerations. Truelson is expected to be in the lineup for Long Beach when it hosts Victoria on Wednesday.

In his second professional season, the 22-year-old Truelson scored seven points (2g-5a) in 14 games with Fresno before being traded to Gwinnett where he had five penalty minutes in six games.

Selected to the 2004 ECHL All-Star Game as a rookie, the 6-1 and 208-pound Truelson scored 31 points (9g-22a) in 64 games with Fresno in 2003-04.
