Long Beachs Gives Cameron
Two-Year Extension

LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach Ice Dogs announced that they have signed head coach and director of hockey operations Malcolm Cameron to a two-year contract extension.

After missing the playoffs the last two seasons, Long Beach is in third place in the West Division at 37-18-8 with nine games remaining.

“Malcolm has been everything we anticipated he would be when we hired him,” said Ice Dogs co-owner Barry Kemp. “This year our fans have seen a return to the kind of hockey the Ice Dogs have been accustomed to playing throughout most of our 10-year history and we’re delighted that Malcolm has agreed to stay for two more years.”
