Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and General Manager Tim Branham announced today that leading goal scorer Jamie MacQueen has been returned to the club after being loaned to the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.
The Grizzlies are the ECHL affiliate of Norfolk and the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League.
With Utah, MacQueen totaled six goals in the team’s first three games, including four goals on opening night, Oct. 18, as the Grizzlies beat the Idaho Steelheads 4-2. He was also named the league’s Player of the Week during the first week of the season. Despite having only played in three games, MacQueen is still the Grizzlies leading goal scorer.
MacQueen had three points (1g-2a) in 14 games with the Admirals during his call-up.
