May Assigned To Pensacola From St. John’s

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that center Scott May has been assigned to the team from St. John’s of the American Hockey League. Pensacola is the ECHL affiliate of St. John’s of the AHL and Toronto of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the seventh round (222nd overall) by Toronto in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft and in his first full professional season, the 25-year-old May had one assist and 21 penalty minutes in 16 games with St. John’s.

In 2003-04, he scored 34 points (15g-19a) in 41 games with Ohio State University and two points (1g-1a) in five games with St. John’s.
