BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced that All-Star left wing Jeff Hutchins has been called up to Rochester of the American Hockey League.
It is the second call up this season to Rochester for the 26-year-old Hutchins, who scored one goal in three games in January. He has also played in the AHL with Bridgeport, registering 39 penalty minutes in 14 games, and with Grand Rapids, scoring one goal with 45 penalty minutes in 12 games.
In 38 regular season games with Mississippi, the 6-0 and 205-pound Hutchins, who scored a goal in the ECHL All-Star Game, has 18 goals, six power-play goals, 16 assists, 34 points, a plus-minus rating of +14 and 128 penalty minutes.
