Moon returns to IceMen

Evansville IceMen have agreed to terms with forward Nathan Moon for the 2013-14 season.

The IceMen are the ECHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League and the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

Moon, 23, comes back to Evansville after playing in Europe during the early portion of the 2013-14 EIHL season with the Braehead Clan. In eight games with Braehead, Moon produced 10 points (5g-5a), and he was tied for the team lead with five goals.

Moon appeared in 44 games with the IceMen in 2012-13, racking up 35 points (16g-19a). The 5’11”, 197-pound center also saw action in 14 games with the Falcons last season, recording four points (2g-2a).

The Belleville, Ontario native played 316 games with the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL from 2006-11, amassing 332 points (139g-193a).
