Moore named Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week

Bryan Moore of the Utah Grizzlies is the
Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week for Nov. 23-29.

Moore scored two goals and added five assists for seven points in a pair of victories over Allen last week.

The 21-year-old scored two shorthanded goals and had three assists in a 7-2 win on Friday and picked up a pair of assists in a 4-2 victory on Saturday.

Under contract to San Diego of the American Hockey League, Moore has nine points (2g-7a) in four games with the Grizzlies while adding two assists in nine games with the Gulls.

Prior to turning pro, Moore tallied 141 points (59g-82a) in 181 career Ontario Hockey League games with Sarnia and Sault Ste. Marie. He also recorded 36 points (17g-19a) in 92 career game with Sioux Falls of the United States Hockey League.

On behalf of Bryan Moore, a case of pucks will be donated to a Utah youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 33,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
