Morrison named assistant coach in St. John’s

The long time Victoria resident began his coaching career in 2005-06 as an Assistant Coach with the Salmon Kings. The 2006-07 season saw Morrison take over as Head Coach 27 games into the season. It was a post he would hold through the 2010-11 season.


Morrison was the longest tenured and winningest coach in Salmon Kings’ history guiding the team to a record of 173-133-27 during his time. He also led the team to the playoffs in each of his five seasons. Last year, Morrison and the Salmon Kings reached the Western Confernce Final of the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
