Nailers Average 3,000 For Two Months

WHEELING, W.Va. – The Wheeling Nailers announced that they have averaged over 3,000 fans per game the last two months.

The Nailers had their second-largest crowd of the season with 5,268 on Saturday and averaged 3,350 per game last weekend to increase their season average to 2,882 per game.

The Nailers are the ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League. The interim head coach of Pittsburgh is former ECHL player Dan Bylsma while the interim head coach in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton is former ECHL player Todd Reirden.
