Fehd returns to Rush blue line

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Rush announced that defenseman Brandon Fehd has returned to the Rush for the 2019-20 season.

Fehd attended Training Camp with the Rush last October, before signing with with the Souther Professional Hockey League’s Macon Mayhem, where in 16 games he logged 11 points (2g-9a) and a +16 rating. Once he re-joined the Rush on Dec. 4 against the Allen Americans, he stayed with the team for the remainder of the season, registering nine points (3g-6a) and a team-leading +7 rating in 50 games.

A native of Gilbert, Arizona, Fehd steps onto the ice for his second full season in the ECHL, having previously skated in the SPHL for 100 games with the Mayhem, Birmingham Bulls, Columbus Cottonmouths and Pensacola Ice Flyers, and briefly in the Federal Hockey League with the St. Clair Shores Fighting Saints. Prior to beginning his professional career, Fehd played four seasons with Northland College, earning 17 points (4g-13a) in 89 games.
