GREENVILLE, S.C. —DefensemanChad Duchesnehas agreed to terms on a contract with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits for the 2019–20 season. Duchesne enters the season tied for the sixth-most games played in a Swamp Rabbits uniform.
Greenville is the ECHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League and the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.
Duchesne tallied 19 points (1g-18a) and added 96 penalty minutes in 69 games last season. In 178 games as a Swamp Rabbit across three seasons, Duchesne has recorded 30 points (3g-27a).The Inverary, Ontario native's junior career saw him play in the Ontario Junior Hockey League with the Kingston Voyageurs, in the United States Hockey League with the Sioux Falls Stampede and in the Ontario Hockey League with the Kingston Frontenacs.
