Nigro joins IceMen, Shattock heads to Peoria

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Evansville IceMen have been assigned left wing Anthony Nigro by their National Hockey League affiliate St. Louis Blues, while right wing Tyler Shattock has been recalled by the Blues to Peoria of the American Hockey League.


Nigro, 22, is in his third pro season, having spent the prior two seasons with the Rivermen. A sixth-round selection (155th overall) by the Blues in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Nigro has tallied 40 points (22g-18a) in  129 career games with Peoria. Prior to his pro career, Nigro spent four seasons in the OHL with the Guelph Storm and Ottawa 67’s.


Shattock, a third year pro, was the IceMen second leading scorer through three games with five points (3g-2a).
