Oilers Reassign All-Star Dubnyk To Thunder

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that All-Star rookie goaltender Devan Dubnyk has been reassigned by the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League to Stockton from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League.

Dubnyk is scheduled to rejoin and start for the Thunder in their game against the Las Vegas Wranglers on Sunday.

Selected in the first round (14th overall) by Edmonton in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Dubnyk is ninth in the ECHL with a 2.57 goals-against-average and is 13-5-6 record with a .920 save percentage and one shutout in 24 games with Stockton and 2-1-0 with a goals-against average of 2.94 in four games for Wilke-Barre/Scranton.
