Four more teams have qualified for the Kelly Cup Playoffs as the Florida Everblades, the Gwinnett Gladiators, the Reading Royals and the Wheeling Nailers join the Alaska Aces, Fresno Falcons and the Las Vegas Wranglers in the postseason.
Gwinnett, which is making its third consecutive postseason appearance, is 39-11-7 and leads the South Division with 85 points, 10 points ahead of Florida at 36-18-3 and 12 points in front of Greenville at 35-19-3. The Gladiators lost in the conference semifinals last season after reaching the conference finals in their first season in Gwinnett in 2004. Florida has advanced to the Kelly Cup Playoffs in all eight of its seasons in the league and has reached the Kelly Cup Finals each of the past two years.
It is the third straight trip to the Kelly Cup Playoffs for Reading which continues to lead the North Division at 34-15-7 and 75 points, four points ahead of Wheeling at 33-17-5 and six points in front of Toledo at 32-18-5. The Royals reached the division finals last season after advancing to the conference finals in 2004. The Nailers return to the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the fourth time after missing the postseason a year ago. Toledo needs a single point to reach the Kelly Cup Playoffs in back-to-back years for the first time since 1998 and 1999. The Storm hosts Reading on Wednesday before playing at Reading on Friday and at Trenton on Saturday and Sunday.
Greenville, which won the Kelly Cup in 2002, can return to the postseason for the second straight season and the fifth time in its eight seasons with a win at Trenton on Tuesday.
Long Beach can advance to the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the second year in a row with a win at Bakersfield on Tuesday. In their first postseason appearance a year ago, the Ice Dogs advanced to the division finals.
The ECHL regular season ends on April 8 and the Kelly Cup Playoffs are scheduled to begin April 10 with the Kelly Cup Finals scheduled for May 22-June 3.

The best-of-three division quarterfinals in the American Conference will be played April 10-13 with the best-of-five division semifinals scheduled for April 14-23. The best-of-five division finals will be played April 24-May 3 and the best-of-seven American Conference Finals are scheduled for May 5-20.
The playoff qualifiers in the National Conference will be the top four teams with the highest regular-season point total from the Pacific Division and the top four teams with the highest regular-season point total from the West Division.
The best-of-seven division semifinals in the National Conference will be played April 10-22 with the best-of-seven division finals scheduled for April 24-May 6. The best-of-seven National Conference Finals will be played May 8-20.
