Goaltender Edward Pasquale has been reassigned to the Gwinnett Gladiators from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League by the Atlanta Thrashers.
The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the Thrashers and Wolves.
Pasquale returns to the Gladiators after he appeared in five games with the Gladiators from Dec. 28 through Jan. 14 earning a 3.79 goals against average and a .904 save percentage while he posted a 2-2-0 record with the Gladiators.
Pasquale has appeared in 12 games with the Wolves this season earning a 5-6-0 record while he recorded a 3.10 goals against average and an .895 save percentage.
The Toronto, Ontario, native skated with the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League during each of the past three seasons. He appeared in a 61 games and led the OHL in minutes played during the 2008-09 season. He notched a 3.02 goals against average and a .911 save percentage during the regular season with Saginaw.
The 6-foot-2, 218-pound netminder was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 4th round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft with the 117th overall pick.
