Peoria’s Beckford-Tseu
Recalled To Worcester

PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria Rivermen announced that rookie goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu has been recalled to Worcester of the American Hockey League. Peoria is the ECHL affiliate of Worcester of the AHL and St. Louis of the National Hockey League.

Under contract to Worcester and in his first professional season, the 6-3 and 205-pound Beckford-Tseu is 7-8-2 with a goals-against average of 2.57 and a save percentage of .913 in 17 games with Peoria.

Selected in the fifth round (159th overall) by St. Louis in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Beckford-Tseu played three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with Guelph, Oshawa and Kingston.
