Phantoms Recall Rookie Munroe From Trenton
Titans’ Zingoni Signed By Philadelphia

TRENTON, N.J. – The Trenton Titans announced that rookie goaltender Scott Munroe has been recalled to the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League.

The Titans also announced that the Phantoms have signed center Peter Zingoni to a professional tryout agreement.

Trenton is the ECHL affiliate of the Phantoms and the Lowell Devils of the AHL and the Philadelphia Flyers and the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.

The 24-year-old Munroe signed with Philadelphia after completing his season at the University of Alabama Huntsville in 2005-06, and was 0-2-0 with a 3.54 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage in two games for the Phantoms.

Selected in the eighth round (231st overall) by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, the 25-year-old Zingoni had five points (2g-3a) in 16 games for Trenton in 2005-06, a season that was limited by injuries.
