Phoenix Agrees To Terms With Tiltgen, Mole

PHOENIX – The Phoenix RoadRunners announced that they have agreed to terms with goaltender Michael Mole and center Dean Tiltgen (pictured).

“The two most important positions on any hockey team are goaltender and center,” said team president Claude Lemieux. “It is most appropriate, then, that the first two players to don the RoadRunners uniform occupy those two positions.

“Michael Mole and Dean Tiltgen not only represent the first two players to be signed by our team, but also two players who our fans will be very impressed with relative to the ability both will demonstrate on a consistent basis.”

Tiltgen began his professional career in the ECHL with Baton Rouge in 1997-98 and has also played in Augusta (1999-2001), Pensacola (2001-02) and San Diego (2003-04). In five seasons in the league, he has 243 points (117g-126a) and 231 penalty minutes in 305 regular season games and 12 points (10g-2a) and 20 penalty minutes in 18 postseason games.
