Pitton recalled by Oklahoma City

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks, announced the Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Bryan Pitton from the Thunder to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.

This season, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound goaltender is 18-10-4 in 34 games with the Thunder, carrying one shutout, a 2.90 goals-against-average and .901 save percentage.


The 22 year old Pitton is 3-1-0 in five games with Oklahoma City with a 2.54 GAA and .918 save percentage. The native of Brampton, Ontario is under contract with Edmonton of the National Hockey League after being selected by the Oilers in the fifth round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
