NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Predators announced that they have signed former Peoria right wing Jeremy Yablonski.
In 2004-05, the 25-year-old Yablonski had 116 penalty minutes and five points (3g-2a) in 32 games with Milwaukee of the American Hockey League before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury. The 6-0 and 240-pound Yablonski was originally claimed on waivers by Nashville from St. Louis on January 30, 2004. He made his NHL debut with St. Louis on December 30, 2003 and had a second-period fight with Todd Fedoruk, who played with Trenton in 1999-2000.
In 2003-04, Yablonski has two assists and 62 penalty minutes in 13 games with Peoria and 40 penalty minutes in seven games with Milwaukee and Worcester of the AHL.
The 6-1 and 235-pound Yablonski had 154 penalty minutes and three points (1g-2a) in 24 regular season games with Peoria in 2002-03 and 42 penalty minutes in nine regular season games with Cincinnati of the AHL. Yablonski also played with Worcester in 2002-03 finishing with 50 penalty minutes and one goal in 20 regular season games and two penalty minutes in one playoff game.
