MOLINE, Ill. – The Quad City Flames of the American Hockey League announced that they have signed former Las Vegas Wranglers defensemen Tim Hambly.
The Wranglers are the ECHL affiliate of Quad City of the AHL and the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League.
The 24 year old was selected to the ECHL All-Star Game as a rookie in 2005-06 and had 21 points (9g-12a) in 31 regular season games and five points (3g-2a) in nine Kelly Cup Playoff games for the Wranglers in 2005-06. He also played in the AHL with Omaha where he had 17 points (1g-16a) in 45 games and two games with Iowa.
The 6-foot and 190-pound defenseman had 18 points (3g-15a) and 28 penalty minutes in 67 regular season games and one goal in five playoff games for Omaha of the AHL in 2006-07.
