Quailer agrees to terms with Steelheads

Boise, Idaho – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced that the Idaho Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Steve Quailer.

The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League and the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.

The 25-year-old Quailer spent his first two professional seasons in the American Hockey League with Hamilton and Manchester after being selected in the third round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens. In 95 games, he has posted 21 points (10g-11a) and added 74 penalty minutes.

Prior to turning pro, Quailer played three seasons at Northeastern University, recording 63 points (21g-42a) in 105 games.
