READING, Pa. (Ticker) — Graig Mischler had two goals and an assist as the Reading Royals topped the FloridaEverblades, 4-1, to force a decisive fifth game in thebest-of-five Eastern Conference Finals. After David Masse openedthe scoring with a goal for Reading 4:56 into the secondperiod, Mischler made it 2-0 with a tally just 3:30 later. The25-year-old then scored 4:55 into the third to give the Royals a3-1 edge and assisted on the final score of the night, thefifth postseason goal for Mat Snesrud. Judd Medak and KentDavyduke both chipped in a pair of assists for Reading, whichhas outscored Florida, 10-1, in two home games after droppingthe first two games of the series at the Everblades. After ascoreless first period, the Royals registered the first 20 shotsof the second period en route to a 41-21 advantage in shots ongoal for the game. Cody Rudkowsky improved to 8-5 in theplayoffs with 20 saves. John McNabb provided the lone marker forFlorida, which has dropped two straight after a six-gamepostseason winning streak. Jeff Maund finished with 37 saves ina losing effort. The Everblades will host the final game of theset on Monday.
