Winning four in a row and going 7-2-1 in the last 10 games, Reading is 17-9-3 to lead the East Division and rank second in the American Conference with 37 points.

The Royals, who have won their last three road games, travel to Elmira on Saturday and Trenton on Sunday. The Royals have won the last two meetings with the Jackals to improve to 2-0-1 overall and 1-0-0 at Elmira. Reading is 3-0-0 on the road and 6-0-0 overall in the season series against the Devils to improve to 44-41-10 all-time against Trenton.

Reading is 10-0-3 when it scores first and 11-1-3 in one-goal games, including 1-1 in overtime and 3-2 in shootouts.
