Reynolds Signs AHL Contract With Predators

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Nashville Predators announced that they have signed former Wheeling defenseman T.J. Reynolds to an American Hockey League contract.

The AHL affiliate of Nashville is the Milwaukee Admirals coached by Claude Noel, who was ECHL Coach of the Year in 2003 with Toledo and AHL Coach of the Year in 2004 after leading the Admirals to the Calder Cup Championship.

In 2004-05, the 24-year-old Reynolds had two points (1g-1a) and 51 penalty minutes in 14 games with Wheeling and one assist and 191 penalty minutes in 32 games with San Antonio of the AHL.

In his first professional season in 2002-03, the 6-2 and 225-pound Reynolds set a team record with 371 penalty minutes in 71 regular season games. In 2003-04 with Wheeling, Reynolds ranked third on the team with a plus-minus rating of +27 while ranking third among Nailers defensemen with 20 points.
