Road Warriors sign trio of forwards with scoring punch

Greenville, S.C. – The Greenville Road Warriors announced the team has signed forwards
Adam Pleskach, Robbie Bourdon and Matt Thurber for the 2013-14 season.

Pleskach, 25, finished up last season with the Evansville IceMen posting flashy numbers with eight points in 10 games. He previously played four seasons at American International College and led the team in scoring every year. His senior year he posted 15 goals, 17 assists and 34 penalty minutes in 35 games.

Bourdon, 23, joins the Road Warriors having spent the last four seasons at Colgate University. Last season, the Montreal, Quebec native finished second on the team in scoring, tallying 27 points in 30 games. After wrapping up his collegiate career at Colgate, Bourdon signed with the Reading Royals last March. Bourdon skated in three games with Reading, collecting a goal and an assist with the team.

Thurbur, 23, finished his collegiate career last season at Northern Michigan University with a team high 32 points in 30 games played. The Beaver Dam, Wis. native played two seasons at Northern Michigan University from 2011-13 and two seasons at University of Wisconsin from 2008-10.
