RoadRunners Acquire Maiser From Dayton

PHOENIX – The Phoenix RoadRunners announced that they have acquired the rights to forward Justin Maiser from the Dayton Bombers in exchange for the rights to forwards Justin Aikins and Chanse Fitzpatrick and future considerations.

The RoadRunners are the ECHL affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the fifth round (165th overall) by the St. Louis Blues in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 24-year-old Maiser had career highs with 19 goals and 47 points while playing all 72 regular season games for Dayton in 2006-07. The 6-foot and 190-pound left wing had seven points (3g-4a) and 40 penalty minutes in 22 games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs while helping the Bombers capture the American Conference championship.
