RoadRunners Receives Monych From Coyotes
San Antonio Assigns Rouleau To Phoenix

PHOENIX – The Phoenix RoadRunners announced that right wing Lance Monych has been assigned to the team by the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and that defenseman Alexandre Rouleau has been assigned to the team by the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.

The RoadRunners are the ECHL affiliate of the Coyotes of the NHL and the Rampage of the AHL.

Selected in the fourth round (97th overall) by Phoenix in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old Monych had 21 points (11g-10a) in 26 games with Stockton as a rookie in 2005-06 while also playing in the AHL for San Antonio where he had 16 penalty minutes in 37 games and in the Central Hockey League where he had four goals in three games with Laredo.

Selected in the third round (96th overall) by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 23-year-old Rouleau had 25 points (5g-20a) and 114 penalty minutes in 71 regular season games for Wheeling in 2005-06 and three points (1g-2a) and 14 penalty minutes in nine games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the Nailers.
