READING, Pa. – The Reading Royals announced that defenseman Reagan Rome has been reassigned to the team by the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.
The Royals are the ECHL affiliate of Manchester of the AHL and the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League.
Rome was recalled to Manchester on November 2 but did not appear in a game. The 23-year-old Rome has six penalty minutes in three games with the Royals in 2005-06.
The 6-foot-2 and 210-pound Rome has played each of the past two seasons in Reading and had his best offensive season in 2004-05 registering career highs in assists (19), points (21) and penalty minutes (140). The 23-year-old Rome has played each of his first three professional seasons in the ECHL with Pensacola, Jackson, Cincinnati and Reading and has 59 points (13g-46a) and 372 penalty minutes in 200 regular season games and five assists and 40 penalty minutes in 24 Kelly Cup Playoff games.
