READING, Pa. – The Reading Royals announced that left wing David Masse has been returned from Hershey of the American Hockey League and that rookie center Rob Hisey (pictured) has been activated off injured reserve.
Masse, who is under contract to Hershey, has 20 points (12g-8a) and ranks second on the team with three game-winning goals in 46 games with Hershey. The 6-1 and 190-pound Masse has 19 points (8g-11a) in 25 games with Reading, including a 10-game scoring streak to end the regular season (6g-9a).
Signed by Reading on April 6, the 20-year-old Hisey has not played in a game with the Royals. He scored 309 points (115g-194a) and had 233 penalty minutes in 270 games in the Ontario Hockey League.
