Royals, Mihaly Agree To Terms
Reading Signs Rookie Teslyuk

READING, Pa. – The Reading Royals announced that they have agreed to terms with forward Arpad Mihaly (pictured) and that they have signed rookie defenseman Roman Teslyuk while forward Doug Christiansen has been loaned to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League.

The Royals are the ECHL affiliate of the Monarchs of the AHL and the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the second round (44th overall) by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Teslyuk played the last three seasons in the Western Hockey League where he had 73 points (28g-45a) and 336 penalty minutes in 212 games with Kamloops.

The 26-year-old Mihaly had 31 points (11g-20a) in 18 regular season games and 13 points (4g-9a) in nine games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs for Wheeling in 2005-06 while also playing in the AHL with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton where he had eight points (2g-6a) in 38 games.
