Salmon Kings, Goldie Brothers Agree To Terms

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced that they have agreed to terms with leading scorer Wes Goldie and his brother, Ash Goldie, who led the Long Beach Ice Dogs in scoring.

The 28-year-old Wes Goldie appeared in all 72 regular season games for the Salmon Kings and set team records with 41 goals and 74 points and he led the team in the Kelly Cup Playoffs with six goals and eight points in six games.

The 26-year-old Ash Goldie had career highs with 39 goals, 35 assists and 74 points in 67 games, setting Long Beach team records for goals and points.

The Salmon Kings are the ECHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League and the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.
