Salmon Kings, McLeod Agree To Terms

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced that they have agreed to terms with center Kiel McLeod.

The Salmon Kings are the ECHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League and the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

Selected in the second round (53rd overall) by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot-6 and 233-pound McLeod had nine points (5g-4a) and 15 penalty minutes in eight regular season games and one assist and two penalty minutes in two games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the Trenton Titans in 2005-06.

He also played in the AHL in 2005-06 and had four points (2g-2a) and 36 penalty minutes in 34 games with Philadelphia and one assist and 33 penalty minutes in 28 games with San Antonio.
