Sea Wolves Re-sign Anthony Battaglia

BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced that they have re-signed left wing Anthony Battaglia.

The first player signed by Mississippi, the 25-year-old Battaglia was named the team’s “Offensive Player of the Year” after leading the Sea Wolves with 27 goals, including three shorthand tallies.

After attending training camp with Grand Rapids of the American Hockey League, the 6-0 and 195-pound Battaglia reported to Mississippi and had career highs in goals (27), shorthand goals (3), assists (32), points (59), multiple-point games (17), penalty minutes (40) and games (71).
