Springfield Assigns Deveaux To Chiefs

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – The Johnstown Chiefs announced that center Andre Deveaux has been assigned from the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

The Chiefs are the ECHL affiliate of the Falcons of the AHL and the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the sixth round (182nd overall) by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old had 11 points (4g-7a) and 11 penalty minutes in 11 regular season games and two points (1g-1a) in five Kelly Cup Playoff games for the Chiefs in 2005-06 while also playing in the AHL where he had 11 points (6g-5a) and 135 penalty minutes in 59 games for Springfield.
