Springfield Assigns Rookie Bateman To Stockton

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that rookie left wing Pat Bateman has been assigned to the team by the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

The Thunder is the ECHL affiliate of the Falcons of the AHL and the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League.

The 25 year old, who signed an AHL contract with Springfield during the summer, played three games with Milwaukee of the AHL in 2006-07 after completing his career at Northern Michigan University where he had 87 points (36g-51a) and 329 penalty minutes in 151 games from 2003-07.
