Steelheads Acquire Nesbitt From Gwinnett,
Trade Stutzel’s Rights To Victoria

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads announced that they have acquired forward Derek Nesbitt from the Gwinnett Gladiators in exchange for financial considerations and that they have traded the rights to forward Mike Stutzel to the Victoria Salmon Kings.

The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League and the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League.

In his rookie season in 2005-06, the 24-year-old Nesbitt had 69 points (26g-43a) and 69 penalty minutes in 71 regular season games and 13 points (6g-7a) in 17 games in the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the Gladiators.
