BOISE, Idaho – The Kelly Cup champion Idaho Steelheads announced that they have agreed to terms with rookie forward Colin Sinclair.
The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League and the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League.
The 6-foot and 205-pound right wing played for seasons at the University of New Brunswick where he had 93 points (43g-50a) in 108 games. He scored a career-high 15 goals and 22 points in 2006-07 and helped UNB capture the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) National Championship.
The 25 year old played five seasons in the Western Hockey League from 1998-2003 and had 168 points (56g-112a) and 425 penalty minutes in 325 regular season games and 38 points (10g-28a) and 119 penalty minutes in 72 playoff games for Kootenay.
