BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads announced that they will be wearing limited-edition jerseys for their three-game series against Las Vegas.
The jerseys will be sold in a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting St. Luke’s Center for Heart and Vascular Health. Fans can bid on the jerseys during the games on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday or purchase a jersey outright for $1,000.
Inspired by the St. Luke’s Saving Hearts logo, the jerseys are blue and white with the Steelheads logo, a red stripe down the side and a red electrocardiogram readout across the waist.
The Steelheads and St. Luke’s have raised more than $120,000 the past several years including a record $21,791 for breast cancer care and treatment with last season’s “Pink in the Rink”.
