Stewart Named General Manager Of Grrrowl

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Grrrowl announced that Ryan Stewart has been named general manager. Stewart served as assistant general manager and assistant coach for the team in 2004-05.

“Ryan has a great work ethic and has embraced the general manager responsibilities very quickly,” said Grrrowl president Ed Rubinstein. “He has a good rapport with the players and along with coach John Marks will be able to create a strong team on the ice.”

Responsibilities for the 31-year-old native of Niagara Falls, Ontario include assembling the team’s roster, including trades and salaries, while also managing the budget and team expenditures.
