Stingrays Add de Kastrozza
To 2010-11 Roster

North Charleston, SC – The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Cail MacLean announced today that the team has signed forward David de Kastrozza.

The Stingrays are the ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.

de Kastrozza, 23, appeared in three regular season contests and four playoff games last season for the Stingrays scoring two assists. The Toms River, NJ native joined the Stingrays after appearing in 85 games for the University of Maine scoring nine goals and 17 assists for 26 points. Prior to becoming a Black Bear, the 6-foot-3, 205-pound forward skated for Culver Academy under Head Coach Al Clark. During the 2004-2005 season, de Kastrozza was named the team’s most valuable player and led the academy with 30 goals and 14 assists.
