Stingrays Are Real Deal

CHARLESTON, S.C. – After watching the South Carolina Stingrays split the first two games of the ECHL’s Kelly Cup Finals against the Alaska Aces, the ‘Rays struck me in person as the same team they appear to be on paper – deep, fast, relentless and absent an obvious weakness.

After all, the Stingrays split a pair of road games at sold-out Sullivan Arena in Anchorage, winning Game 1 4-2 to snap the Aces’ 12-game home winning streak, which dated back to the regular season.
