North Charleston, S.C. – The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals, host the sixth annual Pink in the Rink presented by East Cooper Medical Center benefiting Susan G. Komen Lowcountry on Saturday against the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.
The one-night only pink-themed event features exclusive Pink in the Rink game jerseys, pink ice, silent auction, live game-worn jersey auction, free parking and more. A portion of all the proceeds generated from the auctions, ticket sales and special events will be donated to Susan G.Komen Lowcountry to help fight breast cancer.
The jerseys will be auctioned off live at the end of the game and the silent auction takes place in section 106 during the contest. This season’s silent auction features many great items including a game-worn David de Kastrozza Washington Capitals training camp jersey, an autographed Rich Peverley Boston Bruins jersey, a two-night stay at the historic Mills House Hotel and much more!
Last season, the Stingrays donated over $46,000 to help fight breast cancer and in the five-year history of the event, contributed over $119,000.
