Stockton Arena Voted Third-Best
Minor League Sports Facility

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that a reader’s poll conducted by voted Stockton Arena as the third-best minor league sports facility in North America.

The multi-purpose facility opened with a sellout crowd of 10,117 for the Thunder’s on Dec. 2, 2005, the first of five sold-out crowds in the team’s first two seasons.

Stockton has led the ECHL in attendance each of its first two seasons, becoming the first team other than Florida to lead the league in attendance two years in a row since Louisiana from 1995-99.

The Thunder raised their average attendance by 6.5 percent to 6,780 per game at Stockton Arena which will host the ECHL All-Star Game on Jan. 23, 2008.
