Stockton re-signs Reber

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League, and head coach Matt Thomas announced the team has re-signed right wing Matt Reber.

The 6-foot-2 and 185 pound forward was acquired from the Utah Grizzlies on Jan. 24, 2012 in exchange for center Jordan Foreman. Reber responded by posting a goal and an assist in his first three games with the Thunder and finished the season with 11 goals and 36 points (11g-25a) in 66 games.

He suited up in three Kelly Cup Playoff games last season and has collected 11 points (3g-8a) in 11 postseason games with Stockton and Utah.

The Edina, Minn. native skated at Dartmouth College for four seasons (2007-11) and scored 68 points (17g-51a) in 122 games. Reber enjoyed a career high 26 points (5g-21a) in 29 games as a 2009-10 junior.
