DULUTH, Ga. – The Gwinnett Gladiators announced that goaltender Adam Berkhoel, defenseman Ryan Van Buskirk and center Kevin Doell have been called up to Chicago of the American Hockey League. Gwinnett is the ECHL affiliate of Chicago of the AHL and Atlanta of the National Hockey League.
Under contract to Atlanta, Berkhoel is making his third trip to Chicago, having lost 4-3 at Cincinnati on November 19 in his only appearance. He leads ECHL goaltenders in the postseason with a 1.53 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage in seven games.
Van Buskirk has five points (1g-4a) in 27 games with Chicago and scored 12 points (1g-11a) in 25 games with Gwinnett in the regular season.
