Thunder Agree To Terms With 2006 All-Star Bennefield

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that they have agreed to terms with free-agent right wing Jesse Bennefield.

Stockton is the ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League and the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

Bennefield, who was an All-Star in 2006 had 44 points (22g-22a) and 107 penalty minutes in 52 regular season games and two points (1g-1a) and six penalty minutes in nine playoff games with the Rockford IceHogs in the United Hockey League. While on loan to the Milwaukee Admirals in the AHL the 26 year old had one assist in two regular season games. Bennefield also spent time with the Iowa Stars in the AHL where he had one assist in four regular season games.
