STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that they have renewed their affiliation agreement with the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League for the 2007-08 season.
“We’re very pleased to be continuing our affiliation with the Oilers for 2007-08,” said Stockton president Dan Chapman. “It was a mutually-beneficial arrangement last season and we look forward to working with their organization and players again this year.”
Rookie defenseman Bryan Young became the first Thunder player to earn a call-up to the NHL, making his NHL debut on Mar. 9 with Edmonton and playing 17 games with the Oilers.
