Thunder, Lee Agree To Terms

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Thunder announced that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Brian Lee.

The Thunder are the ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League and the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

Acquired from Columbia in exchange for defenseman Bryan Rodney on Mar. 7 as part of a four-team trade, the 23 year old had eight points (2g-6a) and 33 penalty minutes in 16 regular season games for Stockton in 2006-07 and 10 penalty minutes in six Kelly Cup Playoff games for the Thunder. Selected in the third round (71st overall) by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot-2 and 210-pound defenseman had eight points (1g-7a) and 78 penalty minutes in 55 games with Gwinnett in 2006-07 while also playing in the AHL where he had six penalty minutes in four games with Chicago.
