Titans Receive Ruggeri, Wood,
Brunelle, Caprara, Houle From Phantoms

TRENTON, N.J. – The Kelly Cup Champion Trenton Titans announced that they have been assigned defensemen Rosario Ruggeri and Stephen Wood, left wings Mathieu Brunelle and Marco Caprara and goaltender Martin Houle by the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League.

The Titans also announced that they have agreed to terms with forward Ned Havern.

Trenton is the ECHL affiliate of the Phantoms and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL and the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League.

Selected in the eighth round (232nd overall) by Philadelphia in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the 20-year-old Houle has played the last four years in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with Cape Breton where he was 65-51-9 with a goals-against average of 2.72 and a save percentage of .913.

Selected in the ninth round (273rd overall) by the Dallas Stars in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot-1 and 199-pound Halvern, who turned 23 on Saturday, has played the last four years at Boston College scoring 57 points (28g-29a) in 151 games.
